I'm finally feeling better.

I have been sick for 8 days. My doctor tells me my immune system is that of a eighty year old woman, except a little better; maybe This week is gonna kick-ass because my brother is coming home on tuesday afternoon for Thanksgiving, bring on the mini-all-week-LAN party My parents are pressuring me to go to bed right now
"you wanna start heading up to bed?"
Yeah, right, whatever.

Random thought of the week.

My parents are watching a documentary about the movie Saturday Night Fever, the only thing gayer than that movie is Richard Simmons in a car that runs on dreams and sugar.

My teachers ruined my break.

Here's some of the easy crap I have to do. (I mean it's really easy)

The reaction of ethane gas(C2H6) with Clhorine gas produces C2H5Cl as its main product (along with HCl). In addition, the reaction produces C2H4Cl2, C2H3Cl3, and others. Naturally the production of these minor products reduces the yeild of the main product. Calculate the percent yeild of C2H5Cl if the reaction of 300. g of ethane with 650. g of Chlorine produced 490. g of C2H5Cl.

_____________________
- 490g C2H5Cl
-300g C2H6
-650g Cl
-% yelid of C2H5Cl?
-
-____________________

C2H6(g) + 2Cl(g) ------------> C2H5Cl + HCl

300 g C2H6 X
1 mol C2H6/ 30g C2H6 = 10 mol C2H6

650g Cl X 1 mol/ 35.5 g = 18.3 mole Cl

mol C2H6/
mol Cl= 1/2

mol C2H6/ mol Cl = 10 g/18.3 g = .55 (Cl is the limiting reagent)

18.3 mol Cl X 1 mol C2H5Cl/ 2 mol Cl =
9.15 mol C2H5Cl

9.15 mol C2H5Cl X 64.5 g C2H5Cl/ 1 mol c2H5Cl =
590g C2H5Cl (Theoretical Yeild)

Actual/Theoretical = 490g / 590g =
83% yeild

This is so boring.

Code Part 1

if(y>PawnLocationY[P]-100 && y
This is the main method I use to move white pawns on my board (determines where the pawn you clicked on is, and where it can go).

Tons of stuff.

I started working on my java chess game again, after about 5 weeks of not touching the code once. Not that I'm ashamed or anything, because I never really expected myself to sit down and do it in the first place. Right now I have the chess board set up, some of the pieces drawn, and the groundwork for some of the gameplay elements, basic stuff really. In my head I never imagine finishing the game anyway, it's just a little side-project. I'm also considering starting to build some sort of 2-D map editor for some old school games. But then I have to get around to learning some C++, sick of Java I am; atleast for the programming I actually enjoy doing. Java is too wordy and needy {insert your own metaphors here}, for me, I want something robust with good documentation online. Have you seen Sun's website lately? Try to locate the Java SDK 1.4 in less than 10 minutes... you can't it's impossible!

The only good thing that has happened to me is my gpa this marking period: 4.833, not to bad.

I would show you a snippet of code, but this blog runs in html, and it keeps giving me broken script errors.

Bye Bye Live journal.

All good things must come to an end, not to say my livejournal was good, but it came to an end either way. I find livejournal and myspace insipid nowadays, and I have decided to make a switch. This blog isn't to see who is the most popular, or who has the most free time on their hands; painstakingly editing the 12 different looks their myspaces can have. Atleast on here I can do some actual editing. Basically, this is just a blog on my day-to-day opinions/ thoughts / non- thoughts, whichever. (Surely some of you will disagree with my Opinions).
